Coventry and Warwickshire law firm, Alsters Kelley LLP with offices in Leamington, Coventry and Nuneaton has raised £1,070 after donating their will writing fees for a week for The Myton Hospices.
All three offices donated the money after participating in ‘Make a Will Week’ which took place from the 5th – 9th October. Suggested donations were £80 for a single will and £160 for a pair of mirror wills.
Neil Raiseborough, Member and Head of Private Client Department at Alsters Kelley said, “The Myton Hospices charity is so important for the people of Coventry and Warwickshire. They do such a wonderful job caring for people in this area and participating in ‘Make a Will Week’ is a great way for us to be able to support them.
There are still a huge amount of people who do not have a Will but by having one written by a solicitor you can ensure that your family, friends and any favourite charities can benefit exactly as you wish.”
Hannah Morris, Corporate Fundraising Development Manager from The Myton Hospices said, “We are very grateful to Alsters Kelley for giving their time to support ‘Make a Will Week’ and raising such a fantastic amount. Each year we touch the lives of over 4,000 local people through our hospices and family support services and the money raised will make a real difference to our patients and their families.
We run three hospices in Coventry and Warwickshire and need to raise over £8 million each year in voluntary donations, The support of the local business community is essential for us to continue our work.”
