Our ‘No Hidden Fees’ policy means that the quote you receive will be transparent, ensuring that you have a clear understanding of what you’ll be paying from the outset. When you receive a fixed fee quote from us, you can trust that the amount we quote for legal fees is what you’ll pay—no hidden surprises.

Referral fees are sometimes paid by solicitors to estate agents to refer work to them. If we had been recommended to you, the referral is genuine and not because we have paid for it. Maintaining our independence is important to enable us to provide the best service to you. Because we don’t pay fees to third parties to introduce work to us, we are always able to offer competitive prices along with high levels of service.

We offer a fixed fees conveyancing quotation, however disbursement fees have the potential to fluctuate, meaning that we cannot guarantee their final amounts. If additional costs arise, we will be transparent in discussing them with you so that you know why they are needed and what the cost will be. However, our initial quote will include those costs that we anticipate will be incurred at this stage.

These are the additional costs and fees charged by other parties, such as the government, that form part of your quote. These are the costs that are passed on to you to enable your matter to be completed. They include things like land registry fees, search fees, stamp duty and the cost of any insurance policies.

The legal fees for conveyancing are the fees that we charge for providing our services to you. We will fix our fees for your quote based on the information that you will give us. The quote includes all the work that will be needed to conclude your matter. We won’t add extra charges for verifying your identification, administering the sending of money, photocopying or even dealing with unexpected things that may crop up along the way like rights of way or easements.

As the quote is based on the information that you have given us, if it needs to be updated, for example if the property is Leasehold or unregistered, we reserve the right to revise our quotation.
