The champagne was cracked open at Alsters Kelley in Nuneaton recently, as Sarah Darby celebrated 30 years’ service with the firm.
As a thank you for her long service and to help start the celebrations, Neil Raisborough, member of Alsters Kelley LLP and Head of Private Client presented Sarah with the bubbly!
Sarah said ‘I have thoroughly enjoyed my career with Alsters Kelley and I enjoy the variety of the work I deal with but most importantly I love the face to face contact with our clients and being able to help people at a very stressful and emotional time in their lives. I also have many lovely friends across all four offices and it certainly does not feel as if I have been here for 30 years!
Sarah, who is Nuneaton born and bred and went to school at George Eliot, originally started her career at the age of 16 in 1986 with the firm of RS Bull, as the office junior. Within a couple of years she became secretary to one of the Private Client solicitors and this is where she stayed and eventually decided to progress her career and started her training as a Wills & Probate Executive.
Sarah has been a Wills & Probate executive for over 10 years now, and specialises in helping people with Court of Protection – which is when someone is unable to make decisions due to mental capacity issues, and has not made any provision such as a lasting power of attorney.
When not at work Sarah spends time with her three children and is also a cub leader at Chilvers Coton Scout Group, which she has been involved with since her son and daughter became involved.
