Stacey Brown

Stacey’s role is to maximise recovery of legal aid costs.  This includes drafting Legal Help Bills, High Cost Case Plans, Client and Cost Management System E-bills and Bill of Costs.  She also deals with all aspects of the assessment procedure, challenging Legal Aid Agency Decisions and monitoring and reducing Legal Aid Agency KPI figures.

Stacey has worked in the legal profession for over 15 years, originally training as a Legal Cashier.  She joined Alsters Kelley accounts team in September 2008 and joined the Costing Department in December 2012 qualifying as a Costs Lawyer in 2018 through the Association of Cost Lawyers.

Stacey is proud of various things in her career but mainly passing the Association of Costs Lawyers Course with a Merit.

In her spare time Stacey enjoys sailing, swimming, travelling, spending time with family and reading.
