Philippa Onslow-Free

Philippa’s main role is to prepare financial information reports for the company.

Experience

Philippa is experienced in preparing statutory and management accounts, cashflows, VAT returns and corporation and income tax returns for a variety of clients from different industries. She has also been involved in developing accounting systems for new businesses. Philippa also has experience of legal cashiering, preparation of SAR reports, management and year end accounts and cashflows for solicitors.

Career

Philippa qualified as a Chartered Accountant in practice in London before relocating to the Midlands. She then moved into a legal firm as a Financial Controller for a multi site solicitors’ practice. Philippa has also set up a new solicitors’ firm as Practice Manager/ Financial Controller and grew this until a merger with larger practice. Philippa has gained experience in accountancy practices, solicitors firms and an outsourced legal cashiering business before becoming a self employed accountant. Philippa initially joined Alsters Kelley in 2024 as a locum, before starting in her permanent role with us in May 2025.

Hobbies

In her spare time, Philippa enjoys watching sport (especially cricket!), all sorts of crafts and her recently refurbished MGB GT.
