Mark’s role is to ensure all our premises meet health & safety requirements, maintaining our five offices, preparing risk assessments, and ensuring a healthy and happy working environment for all.
Experience
Mark has a large amount of experience of all things health & safety and maintenance, both in the private sector and education. He is a qualified PAT tester and has also gained training in fire safety, first aid, asbestos awareness and lone working.
Career
Mark started his career making handmade furniture, working alongside one of the country’s leading makers, gaining Guild Marks for pieces he made along the way. He then moved into education, which led him to him overseeing workshops, taking responsibility for health & safety and facilities and estate management.
Hobbies
Outside of work, Mark is a keen Sea Scout Leader in Warwick, and loves canoeing and power-boating. He also enjoys motorsport and, when he gets time, enjoys walking with his wife and family.
