Newly Qualified Solicitor appointment at Alsters Kelley Solicitors Ltd

Coventry & Warwickshire law firm Alsters Kelley Solicitors Limited is celebrating after one of its trainees recently qualified as a solicitor.

Matthew Williets, who works within the Residential Property department, first joined the firm in 2016 as a Legal Secretary before progressing to a paralegal in the Children & Families Public Law department. Matt joined the Conveyancing team in 2018 and obtained his solicitor training contract in September 2019.

 

He now assists clients with all types of residential conveyancing transactions including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, transfers of equity and re-mortgages and is based in our newly acquired Stratford-upon-Avon office.

Matt obtained a 2.1 in his Criminology and Criminal Justice degree in 2011 before going on to graduate from a Law Master’s degree (LLM) with a Commendation in 2013 and after completing the Common Professional Examination.

In July 2016 he graduated from the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in Birmingham, again with a Commendation.

Commenting on his qualification, Matt said, “I am really thrilled to have qualified and relieved that there is no more formal studying for a while! I am looking forward to developing my own caseload and increasing my knowledge and experience with the support of my colleagues.

Matt will be based in the Stratford-upon-Avon office working alongside Andrew Bonell a very experienced property Solicitor.
