Coronavirus update – January 2021, access to legal services

On the 4th January a further national lockdown was announced. However, the latest guidance from the Government confirms that you may still leave home to fulfil legal obligations or to carry out activities related to buying, selling, letting or renting a residential property.

The majority of public services will continue and you will be able to leave home to visit them. These include Courts and probation services.

Businesses that provide services (rather than goods) including solicitors and estate agents – are not required to close.

Please be assured that all of our offices remain open with a skeleton staff and all of our staff working from home are fully accessible.

We remain committed to supporting our clients through these unprecedented times and understand that our clients want to access legal services in a number of ways to suit their needs.  Wherever possible we will deal with your matter via video conferencing, telephone and email or post however, where attendance at our offices is required you must book an appointment in advance and you must only attend if you are free of Covid symptoms and you wear a face covering.

Our staff are available to help Monday to Friday, 9.00am – 5.30pm. Please do not hesitate to contact us via email enquiries@alsterskelley.com or telephone 01926 356000.
