Alsters Kelley Solicitors sponsor Women In Business Conference 2022

Local Coventry & Warwickshire law firm, Alsters Kelley Solicitors Ltd supports local women in business network Socially Shared for their 4th annual women in business conference.

The headline event taking place on 8th June 2022 at the Draycote Hotel, Rugby, celebrates and brings together local women in business and employment. The theme for the day is ‘communication’ which acknowledges how businesses have had to pivot, adapt and communicate differently during the pandemic, with many businesses flourishing and continuing on with this hybrid approach.

Julie McGarrigle, Director of Business Development at Alsters Kelley Solicitors said “The last conference held in 2019 at the Honiley Court Hotel was both informative and inspiring and when we heard that there was going to be a conference this year, we just knew we had to get involved!”

The morning sees more than 100 guests hear from Ellen Manning Journalist, PR Consultant and Award Winning Blogger, TEDx and Public Speaking Coach Minnie Malinckrodt-Grant, Adrianne Carter ‘The Face Whisperer’ UK’s Foremost Expert in Facial, Emotional and Body Language and Marie Wicker of Certanovo, an Executive Coach for Women and Teams. In addition, there are two interactive and informative workshops available in the afternoon. The first led by Amy Hobson a Digital Marketing Consultant and regular speaker at the NEC’s Spring and Autumn Fair and the second by Jules White, Award Winning International Sales and Business Consultant, aka The Dragon Slayer after her success on BBC’s Dragon’s Den.

The conference sees the welcomed return of Joanna Tidman, BBC senior journalist and broadcaster as MC for the fourth year.

This year’s conference also sees the introduction of a ‘young women in business, education, training and employment’ ticket option. Karen Heap, founder of Socially Shared is encouraging young women to attend the event, as it provides a great introduction to networking and will undoubtedly inspire those young entrepreneurs, leaders and professionals of the future who want to create their own similar success.

The business support network that uniquely blends and facilitates networking, a learning opportunity and social support at each of the monthly sessions throughout its Midlands network, has been thrilled with the response from guests at each of the three conferences and would invite women in employment and business to attend.

Support has also been welcomed from two additional headline sponsors Cube Accounting and The HR Dept (Rugby, South Warwickshire and North Derbyshire).
