Coventry and Warwickshire law firm, Alsters Kelley LLP with offices in Leamington, Coventry, Nuneaton and Southam, raised £1,755 after donating their will writing fees for a week for The Myton Hospices.

All four offices donated the money after participating in ‘Make a Will Week’ which took place in October last year. Suggested donations were £80 for a single will and £160 for a pair of mirror wills.

Neil Raiseborough, Member and Head of Private Client Department at Alsters Kelley said, “The Myton Hospices charity is so important for the people of Coventry and Warwickshire. They do such a wonderful job caring for people in this area and participating in ‘Make a Will Week’ is a great way for us to be able to support them.

There are still a huge amount of people who do not have a Will but by having one written by a solicitor you can ensure that your family, friends and any favourite charities can benefit exactly as you wish.”

Hannah Morris, Partnerships Manager from The Myton Hospices said, “We are very grateful to Alsters Kelley for giving their time to support ‘Make a Will Week’ and raising such a fantastic amount. In the last 12 months, we have worked with and supported over 2,300 patients and their families across Coventry and Warwickshire. This is in our hospices, via our patient and family support services and in the community through Myton.

We run three hospices in Coventry and Warwickshire and need to raise £8.4 million each year in voluntary donations, we couldn’t do this without the support of the local community.”
