Wills, Probate, Tax & Trusts

Whatever stage you have reached in your life, we are here to help you through the big milestones.  We want to have a long-term relationship with you and your family, supporting you every step of the way.

We pride ourselves on not only being excellent at the law but also being able to provide our clients with clear, concise, practical and understandable advice. We aim to make things as easy as possible.

Our team of experienced specialists can offer advice to you or your loved ones on a number of matters including the following:

  • Making a Will - to deal with the distribution of your assets on your death
  • Making a Lasting Power of Attorney Property and Financial Decisions and/or Health and Welfare - to assist someone in making decisions for you in the future if you become physically or mentally incapable of dealing with these yourself
  • Court of Protection - may be needed where someone no longer has the capacity to make decisions themselves
  • Inheritance Tax Planning - to help reduce any Inheritance Tax that may be payable on your death
  • Trust Creation and Administration
  • Probate and Administration of Estates - dealing with an estate following a death, including uncontested Probate cases with all assets in the UK
  • Protecting your assets - from being used if you need a care home in the future

If you have made a Will previously you should always review it regularly to ensure it still meets your needs. You should always take advice if you have married or divorced since the preparation of your Will.

You always need to consider making a Lasting Power of Attorney.  This is a document where you appoint people who you know and trust to make decisions for you, if you are unable to yourself.  If no provision for a Lasting Power of Attorney has been made then this may result in an application being made to the Court of Protection which is costly and time consuming.

Whether you are at work or in business, raising a family, looking forward to grandchildren or planning for a well-earned retirement, we can help you plan a more secure future.

We provide a service that matters not only to our clients but to us as well.

If you need our help or if you require any further information, then please don't hesitate to contact one of our experienced team.
