Yemi's role is to assist her clients in obtaining the requisite leave to remain or enter the UK by giving them accurate advice whilst representing them throughout the course of their Immigration matter. She is actively involved in providing adequate representation to the Secretary of State for grant leave to enter or remain in the UK and/or challenging its decision to refuse such application.

Experience

Yemi qualified as a solicitor in 2011 after gaining a 2:1 in Law (LLB) from Coventry University. Yemi then undertook her Legal Practice Course (LPC) with the University of Law in Birmingham and subsequently secured a training contract at a firm in London. As a trainee, she undertook various seats in Litigation, Employment and Immigration. Yemi qualified in 2011.

Yemi joined the firm in 2014 as a Solicitor and has since been promoted to an Associate in 2017. Yemi specialises in both business and personal immigration work. She has successfully dealt with applications under the Point Based System Tier 1 (Investors & Entrepreneurs), Tier 2 (Work Permits), Tier 4 (Students), Tier 5 (Temporary Workers), indefinite leave to remain, entry clearance, family reunions, unmarried partner, married partner, domestic violence and EEA applications. Due to Yemi’s passion for employment and immigration law she specialises in both business and personal immigration matters.

Yemi has a wealth of experience in dealing with human rights cases, appeals, judicial reviews and Court of Appeal matters and is particularly skilled at dealing with complex and unusual immigration matters. Whilst working in this area of law, Yemi has been proud to boast a 98% success rate.
