| Experience: |
Louise has built up strong links with women’s refuges and has worked on many domestic violence indefinite leave applications.
She has also worked closely with family solicitors to deal with immigration aspects of cases involving family courts – for example, children coming to join relatives in UK, parents applying for leave when their children were involved in care proceedings etc.
Louise has also worked on numerous same sex couples applications and entry clearance applications.
In previous roles, Louise has gained experience in all aspects of asylum and immigration law. |

Louise studied at De Montfort University gaining a post-graduate diploma in law and finishing the LPC in 2003.
Previous to legal training, she completed a degree in Psychology from Manchester Metropolitan University.
Louise trained at Dodds and Partners and in 2004 stepped in as the Head of Immigration.
She has also worked at Nottingham firm, Paragon Law, working as a supervising solicitor and was a regular contributor at an advice session at the Nottingham Refugee Forum.
She is also a Law Society Level 2 Accredited case worker and accredited supervisor. |

| Hobbies: |
Louise has one daughter, aged 7 and a son aged 3 and a half. She is actively involved with the school PTA, enjoys learning Turkish, dog walking, canal boating and family time. |
