Alsters Kelley LLP was proud to have exhibited in the very first ‘Home Moving Show’ at the Royal Pump Rooms, Leamington Spa, which has been featured in this month's Warwickshire Life magazine.
Legal Executive, Linda Ball, Conveyancing Executive Cathy Richards and Private Client lawyer, Jas Kaur, were on hand to offer advice to those who were in the process of or considering a house move.
Ms Ball, who later did a presentation and Q&A session, said: “The event was a great opportunity for members of the public to just walk in and as us any questions with regard to moving home."
She added: “Moving home is stressful so it is important conveyancing shouldn’t be left to chance. It is a complicated process and by instructing an experienced legal professional, rather than a faceless telephone operator, you are significantly minimising risk.”
Jas Kaur, who represented the Private Client department, reminded people that if they are to move, other important legal documents need to be changed too: “Changing Wills are often left until years after a person has moved- this is something which should be dealt with soon after so as to avoid complications later down the line should the worst happen.”
Other exhibitors included: Peter Clarke Estate Agents, Wine Poole wine tasting and imports, Lombok and Britannia Squab.
